I’ve always wanted to see more Andorians in the TNG-VOY era of Star Trek. Since not very many of them appeared on screen, I thought I’d draw one! (It’s one of the nice things about being an illustrator.) So, I’m calling this one “An Andorian on an Away Mission.” Try saying that five times fast. 🙂
I always wanted to see the Kelvin Timeline take on the Doomsday Machine. One of the nice things about being an artist and illustrator is that you can, well, take the time to tell your own stories. This version of the Enterprise is based on the refit seen in Star Trek Beyond, which is one of my favorite takes on the design. Making the nacelles smaller, sweeping back the pylons, and increasing the length of the neck really helped to […]
This piece was commissioned by a Star Trek Adventures GM, who wanted a piece of art to commemorate his Star Trek RPG campaign. This piece was challenging, as the four main characters were all in different location–and this all needed to be merged in the final piece. I’m really happy with how this one turned out, and I’m excited to do more Star Trek Adventures commissions in the future!
I was thinking the other day that Captain Janeway and the 13th Doctor would get along splendidly, so I decided to draw it! I imagine the Doctor as exuberant and joyful, and Janeway as patient and kind–but they both immediately recognize the competency and humanity of the other. If you want prints, or you’re interested in commissions, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
Over the years, the Intrepid class USS Voyager has really grown on me. For this piece, I had in mind Picard’s ready room artwork, and I wanted to create an equivalent for Voyager. I also wanted to emphasize Voyager moving gracefully–and swiftly–through the stars. If there’s one thing I think of when I think of Voyager’s design, it’s speed. Hopefully this Voyager fan art successfully captures that! If you’re interested in prints, you can order directly from my online store!
Here’s some fan art of Captain Kirk. As a character, Captain Kirk stands for all kinds of good things (tolerance, diversity, justice, and so on). But he’s also a flawed individual. That’s okay, we grow and we learn with him. I decided to illustrate him here, where he is most comfortable: in the command chair of the starship Enterprise. So, hopefully in this piece, I’ve captured the character of Captain James T. Kirk. If you like this piece, you can […]
Just finished watching the absolutely epic season finale of Star Trek: Discovery. I’ve definitely been a fan of the Michael and Spock dynamic this season, so I thought I’d celebrate that with a bit of fan art. If you like this piece, prints are available to purchase from my store!
