The Sovereign-class USS Enterprise-E has long been a fan-favorite design. And I can see why. It’s sleek, it’s fast, it’s almost mean looking. This era of Starfleet designs is replete with this type of angular vessel. And I can see the appeal.

I like to imagine these starships engaged in peaceful exploration–you know, boldly going where no one has one before. I admit to listening to the Star Trek: Insurrection score on repeat as I painted this piece. That’s the kind of vibe I was going for.
