Upon arriving in the 32nd Century, the time-traveling USS Discovery received a massive upgrade and refit.

I have to tell you: I love this design. It’s elegant, it’s high-tech, it’s cool and new–and I think the forms are a definite improvement on the 23rd Century USS Discovery (which I also liked–but not quite as much). Under the command of Captain Michael Burnham, the USS Discovery has charted new worlds, met new species, and helped repair the rifts within the Federation.
