USS Voyager – “Salvage”

A painting of the starship USS Voyager, as seen on Star Trek: Voyager. This intrepid-class starship uses its tractor beam to pull in Vaadwaur salvage, two red planets visible in the background.

The starship USS Voyager stops near a debris field to salvage necessary materials and supplies. That was the idea behind this painting, anyway. I thought it would be a good opportunity to play with some Vaadwaur ships–I always thought “Dragon’s Teeth” was a fantastic episode, and the Vaadwaur could have been an interesting opponent for Voyager.

I wanted to create a kind of “day-in-the-life” piece for the starship Voyager. We probably didn’t see all the mundane maintenance and upkeep they had to do to keep flying. That, and it was a lot of fun to paint a tractor beam!

If you want this “day-in-the-life” of USS Voyager-style piece hanging on your wall, it’s available for purchase in my store!
