Is there a better Star Trek villain than the Borg? Growing up, I loved every Borg episode. And you know what? That’s still mostly true. And that’s definitely what inspired this Star Trek: Voyager painting! I had two ideas in my head when I painted the starship Voyager last: one was Voyager in front of a debris field. Okay, by now we all know that I quite enjoy painting velociraptors. This piece was no exception! Only this time, it’s three velociraptors. I also very much enjoy mixing prehistoric animals with modern settings, which is why this raptor brawl is going down at the local gas station. If you like this piece and want to have some feathery dinosaurs hanging on your wall, you can find prints in my store!
This piece was commissioned by someone who I can only assume is a David Cronenberg fan. And I have to say, even though I’m not terribly familiar with the man’s films, I did thoroughly enjoy Cronenberg’s portrayal of Kovich on Star Trek: Discovery. Rumors are, we’ll see more of Kovich next season. For now, you can enjoy this artwork of the man!
