I just finished watching Korra for the first time (we went right from Avatar: The Last Airbender to Korra). And it was amazing! True, both Avatar and Korra have their strengths… but overall, I think I liked Korra a bit better. It felt more mature in the ways it handled many of the themes.

So, this piece was definitely inspired by my Korra watch-through. I wanted to show Korra in a peaceful settings–especially because peace wasn’t necessarily something she got to enjoy much of during the course of the show.
