You know what kind of world needs Batman? A world with corrupt cops. Our world.

I’m really happy with the way this piece turned out. But for a while, I was concerned about the content. Batman seems to be very much aligned with law enforcement–and I’m not too thrilled about that connect. But then I remembered that Batman is all about justice.

And justice is something we sorely need these days. For everyone. Because look: Black lives matter. And that’s something Batman would get behind in a heartbeat.

Which is… honestly, a kind of strange conversation to be having right now. But I guess it’s a long way of saying that I’m outraged by police (more every day), and things need to change.
