I was asked to do this piece as part of a commission. At first, I found myself way outside of my comfort zone. I don’t paint a lot of interiors–and interiors of cathedrals (or cathedral like buildings) aren’t a big feature in my repertoire. But I’m really happy I took on this project–it was a lot of fun to stretch my legs on this particular piece.

If you look close, you’ll notice the Doctor’s TARDIS in there. It’s definitely a bit on the subtle side, but that was the intention!
