This piece I did entirely for fun, so it’s very much inside my comfort zone. But I wanted to create a “starfleet action-y” piece and also highlight a couple of main characters. Tuvok and Janeway seemed like the logical choice. (Ha.) They’ve always had an easy, loyal, compassionate friendship based on mutual respect. And I tried to capture this in the piece.
