I am a huge fan of Star Trek Beyond, and I’ve always really liked the way the Enterprise looked in that film. There are several enormous changes in the Enterprise from Star Trek Into Darkness to Star Trek Beyond, but the most noticeable is that the nacelles are smaller and swept back.

And it just makes the whole design look more… balanced and elegant. So I decided to paint it! (There’s something about starship art I really just love… I could paint starships all day, ha.)
